- MattMore than a year agoUnique, fun park
I am in town visiting and this is the only no-permit required park that I could find within a reasonable distance. My dog had so much fun here - the wood chips instead of grass is a nice change of pace. You have to bring your own water, and the 5 foot fences are a little too low (he jumped them easily several times chasing squirrels) but the people and dogs there were really nice - we will be there regularly while we’re here in town

I brought my dog here once. He is a considered a big dog at 50+ pounds but is a weenie. There were several other large dogs there that were "alpha" dogs. They picked on my dog and the owners didn't do anything about it. I had to put myself between their dog and mine to keep him safe. Irresponsible owners make for a bad experience. The park itself is nice. Having grass rather than woodchips would be ideal.

This is a nice park for me because I live in wood dale. There are two fenced in areas separating large dogs and small dogs. I you are looking for a place to socialize with other dogs this is great. I just wish the park offered a bit more. Also the park is entirely covered in wood chips. There is no grass.
