Cypress Gardens

Cypress Gardens in Moncks Corner, SC, is pet friendly from November through February. No pets are allowed from March through October. Featured in the hit movies The Notebook and The Patriot, this garden is home to 3.5 miles of walking paths that loop through the swamp and grasslands. Leashed dogs are welcome during the specified dates as long as they are cleaned up after. A fee into the garden does apply. Visit Website

Beautiful Grounds
We went in December, when dogs are allowed. There are alligators in the area so you need to keep your dog leashed, close to you and be vigilant if you decide to walk the trail next to the swamp.
The area is beautiful and really cool if you're a fan of The Notebook, which I am.
They have a funny cockatiel who talks that provided us some unexpected entertainment.

No Dogs Allowed When We Went
They are not allowing dogs here March-October. They check your car if they even think you gave a dog in it. They're afraid of alligators eating the dogs.
