Craig Park

Located just a couple of blocks away from the historic downtown Tarpon Springs, the pet-friendly Craig Park is very welcoming to dogs and their owners on an afternoon stroll. Keep your pup on a leash and walk on the sidewalk that circles the Spring Bayou. You can stop along the way to enjoy lunch at one of the picnic benches. Don't forget to keep an eye out for the manatees in the water during the winter.

    Nice park for a walk

After a couple of cooler days we were lucky and there were a lot of manatees in the bayou. Quite far to walk around the bayou so we stayed in the park part.

    Sea life

Not only did we get to see manatees but also dolphins today around 2-3pm. Nice open trail along the water’s edge. After walked around the local neighborhood a bit to get another mile in. Encountered many friendly people with & without dogs.

Beautiful Park! Close to the historic downtown

My husband and I with our fur baby Dexter absolutely loved this park! We had a little picnic in the park, watched the manatees in the bayou, and walked to perimeter of the bayou on the path. There are several dogs being walked there with their owners on a leash. Amazing spot!
