      Got a ticket

      Awesome park, but brought my chocolate lab here for about 10 minutes and RECEIVED TWO TICKETS! One from a cop for having an off-leash dog (are you kidding?!?) and one from a parking officer for being too far from the curb (what?!?). This park had some sort of problem with a kid getting bitten.

      No Off-Leash Dogs Tolerated

      Off-leash dogs are prohibited at this park. After a child was bitten by an off-leash Golden Retriever, San Francisco Police and Park Rangers aggressively enforce the off-leash rule. I was warned by another resident that there is an active cadre of local residents who know of the child that was attacked and will call police & rangers and insist that you be ticketed if your dog is off leash. Beware!

      The benches offer a place to sit down. It is also close to many restaurants, so your pet can have a treat.
