Oil Piers Beach
Oil Piers Beach is pet-friendly. Bring your dog for a walk along this long stretch of beach in Ventura. Named for the former oil piers in the area, this beach is a great spot to bring your pooch. Dogs are welcome, as long as they are leashed and all mess is cleaned up after them.

This was a great out of the way beach with only a handful of people and dogs on a Wednesday afternoon in summer. About five miles outside of Ventura in Cliffside. You and your pup do have to climb down some rocks to get to the sand so be prepared. No lifeguards or rest rooms. Rusty loved his first trip to play in the waves.
