    Amazing dog park

This is without a doubt one of the best dog parks ever. Although it costs $13 for admission, it is worth it. It is a huge dog park fenced in all the way around and with a restroom provided at the entrance. There are three different large ponds to swim in and plenty of space to explore and sniff around. There are many different trails that go around the park and it is also a beautiful area. Overall great dog park and it is worth the money spent.

    Best Dog Park

This is the best dog park I've ever been to. There's a walking path throughout, water for dogs to swim in, and plenty of room to run. If you're thinking of coming more than once, it's probably worth it to get a park pass and a dog park pass. We keep coming back here because nothing else compares!

    Not for us

$13 admission. No directions or signs to get to. Once there there wasn't enough shade for us so we didn't walk much which was the goal. Pond, but my dog didn't want to swim just watch it. Nowhere really to sit in the shade. No drinking water - the fountain is capped off. Would be better another time of year perhaps.

    Great Place To Cool Off

13$ for a daily admission, well worth every penny. two lakes to swim, lots of trails both concrete for strollers and dirt paths for hot paws. one of the only outdoor access water areas in Colorado so again worth the money.

    Amazing!

We were visiting from Arkansas with 3 dogs. Cost was $12 for 1 day pass and up to 3 dogs. Fun trails with water along the way for swimming all with no leashes. First time experience for our dogs and they all had a great time!

    Truly Awesome

We were visiting CO and had a couple of people recommend this place to us..while we’re not used to paying for parks, this one was well worth it! The off leash area was the biggest I’ve ever seen, and the view of the Rockies while you’re walking around the trails inside the fenced area is just breathtaking!

    The Happy Place

Dog parks in general are great. But this one Chatfield State Park is phenomenal!
It's big, it's clean, it has water, trails and is quite beautiful.
It is the happiest place on Earth (no offense to Disneyland)
Every tail is wagging and every human being has a smile on their face.
With our change in seasons the place takes on a different persona. Summer is WET TIME!!!
    Winter is snow time.
Nearly everyone cleans up after their dogs. There are cleaning stations everywhere.
Most of the dogs are well behaved and many of them are there every day.

Go try this one...it's the best.

best park I have been to

Huge! good for dogs and for humans to get in a good walk. There are a lot of paths inside to take. They are good at keeping up with refilling bag stations. There are ponds here that dogs can swim in.

This park is less crowded than cherry creek, and it seems a little bigger since cherry creek cut off some of their area when they built the fence.

There are water fountains for dogs and people, and flushing bathrooms.

    Nice State Park

Paid $8 to get in to the state park. Had plenty of trails to walk the dog. Dogs allowed throughout the park on leashes. Also was able to use pass to get into other state parks same day

    Favorite off leash area!!

It's worth getting a state park pass and paying dog fee for this place! Two ponds and acres of running space! I just get worn out meeting other dogs while running and swimming as my heart desires. My only complaint is that it makes me sad when owners are lazy and don't pick up after their BFF (Best fury friend)! This is my all time favorite place to go so please take care of it.

    Great park

There are 2 ponds of really good size for dogs to swim in. There are multiple areas to enter the ponds. The path is black pavement which a slight downer, especially during these hot summers. There is water fountains, and even a hose just outside one of the entry points to spray of pond water. The fencing is a cattle fencing, so no worries about your dog escape if they disappear into the bushes. I love this park, I just wish it wasn't a 50 minute drive from my house.

    Great Park

We took our 5 mo old GSP here a couple of weeks ago for the first time. This park is HUGE and entirely fenced. The entrance areas (there are 2) have double gated entries to use to put on/take off leashes before entering or exiting the park. There are two restrooms just outside of the entry ways and water fountains. There are two ponds w/in the park. There are warning signs about possible bacteria so if your dog enjoys the water make sure they get a good scrub down at home and try not to let them drink it. The walking trail that goes around the perimeter is just over a mile. There is a fee to access this park but it is worth it. It's $7 to get into Chatfield park, and $2 to get to use the dog park. You can purchase a yearly Colorado Parks Pass for $70, and a yearly dog park pass for $20. If you plan on visiting 10 times over the course of the year it's totally worth it.
