    Green Mountain Scenic Overlook and Trailhead is pet-friendly. This small county park is located a short distance west of Lake Apopka and offers the highest elevations in Central Florida, provding a sweeping panorama of the lake and Florida’s longest set of trail switchbacks.       17 mile trail

      There is a well constructed covered overlook that gives you a nice view of the park. The trail has markers every half mile of the over 17 mile hardened trail. Not too much traffic with only a few bikes and hikers. This was a great place to walk your dog.
