    Founders Park Off-Leash Area

    Founders Park is a great spot for Fido to run and play off leash in Alexandria, VA. There is a designated area of the park for the Fido to de-leash. It's not fenced but it features spacious, grassy areas, rocky terrain, and even water nearby if your pup wants to swim. Remember to clean up after your pup. Visit Website

      Scenic waterfront views

      I didnt notice any specific area designed for off leash. We took walk around the park but stayed on leash as its close to the road. Walking through the town we saw lots of dogs walking off leash.

      scenic park site

      A great park off 495/95 to stretch your pup's legs and a very scenic view. Enjoyed walking with our dog on the leash around park and then letting her run and play with the other dogs in a designated area. There is no fence, so you have to be comfortable with dog off leash.
