    Great Park!

I’m glad we ignored the bad reviews and stopped here! Yes the park is all sand .... I say better than mud! It’s clean and Our pups had a great time!

    It's ok

We are new to the area and have been walking our 2 dogs who both used to run free. The dog park is a very welcome addition to their lives and it brings us a lot of joy to watch them run again. I only have one real problem. Both our dogs are about 35 pounds and are in the large dog area. I don't know whether you realize it but dogs that size can escape under the large gate used for maintenance. One of our dogs was almost gone before we managed to grab her back legs and pull her back in.

The dog park is dusty and not very big . To bad. I will not take my dogs there.

I miss the old dog park

The new area is a dirt bowl, fenced, with trees and water pump, but is lousy compared to the old park area. Bring in some grass for the pups and this could be a great dog park again. As it stands now, it pretty much is terrible on windy days - common in the Carson Valley - and whenever it is wet outside. It used to be 4 to 5 bones in my head.

    GHOST PARK

we went form 40 plus doga a day to 10 on weekends. Dust with no grass is a bik problem. This area is a dust bowl.known to all the existinf park we left had grass and made it a very good park for all.. A fence could have been placed down the center for all to use and if mor land for human use was requested they could seed mors sections for humans. We, I didn't ask for much just a fair shake. We know some problems arese with dogs but for the most part are managed. The new parks look nice till you consider the wind, mud ans massive amounts of dust as we have only an occasional truck to water it down.. as a pet owner it feels like we are being punished because we use it daily, sure some owners don't pickup after their pet but we can improve on it given a chance and some help.
    Thank You
