    Very nice park

This is a nice, level park with plenty of shade, and grass around the edges. It is covered in kitty litter size gravel, so when it rains, the water just soaks down into the ground, leaving the park useable and not muddy. My dog loves it here. There are some very nice regulars.

    Regular Park Visitor

I go to this park every Saturday and Sunday and have been for 7 years. Great people, great dogs. Plenty of shade in the summer. The county has a water spicket that's turned on from April - October.

To the people who complain about the holes in the pools and the ratty toys...The pools are purchased and donated by the frequent visitors. (Although one green one says "FFX County" on it; we wrote that to prevent people from stealing the pools). The toys are also left behind by owners and dogs. The county doesn't buy this stuff; we (the dog owners) buy it with our own money and donate for all to enjoy. So, stop complaining and if you want something nicer, feel free to donate something better.

I rate this dog park three stars because there is a lot of trees but all of the toys are disgusting and ripped up. All of the dogs have fun.

    Grist Mill Dog Park

The dog park is part of a larger park that has a playgorund for kids and soccer fields. The dog park area is off to the right of the main park. The dog park is a nice size for dogs to run around in. There is no grass, but something like crushed rock is what is surface of the dog park is made of. The plus is that the cahnces of picking up and fleas or ticks from the ground is just about zero. Not a bad park to let your dog run around!
