    Nice park for small dogs

We have two parks near us but ventured out to this one and was not disappointed.

Small dog side has a nice landscape, 1/2 with Rees and 1/2 without. It appears the fence is well maintained with no holes our escape routes for little dogs. Water is outside the gate, so bring your own in or a dish to fill.

Big dog side has some hills which is enticing for small dogs but observe carefully, not all dog owners watch out for their dogs. That's our responsiblilty as small dog owners in the big dog side. It's very big and nicely covered by,lots of trees.

Best yet, once you're done with the dog park, leash up and take a 20-min walk around the disc golf park on the gravel trail. Watch out for snakes around the water areas.

    Love this park.. only

Love this park, only wish I have is that people stop bringing big dogs in the little dog area. I have a puppy and she was terrified when a big aggressive dog started to chase her! THERE IS A REASON IT'S DIVIDED...

    Nice

The people were extra friendly. The park isn't just flat which makes it more interesting. Lots of trees. For some reason at first everyone was on the small dog side, even with big dogs. Bring water or a bowl. The water is outside the gate. Which is inconvenient if you are there a long time.

    Beautiful park!

I agree. Beautiful, clean park with nice facilities. Only wish is that it be monitored more closely for people bringing big dogs in the little dog area. We have small puppy and it was terrified of the large dog running around away from owner.there is a reason that it is divided by size. I will still go back as it is a very nice place for dogs and people too. Love the trees and grassy area.

Not what we thought it would be...

Read the great reviews, were very disappointed. The side for small dogs looked nice, but the big dog side had no grass, no access to water inside the park, few benches and the people there were not picking up after their pets.

    Fantastic

great dogs and responsible owners ! plenty of shady terrain, plenty of poop bags and a couple of benches for humans to sit on while the dogs burn off that pent up energy, fantastic for sociable dogs and a drinking fountain at floor height for when they need a drink

    Great park, people problems

Amazing facilities, as others have said, but I've had a huge problem with people bringing little dogs into the big dog pen. These little dogs bully the large dogs because they're intimidated, then the big dogs gang up and pick on the little dog, and the little dog's owner is usually quite upset about this. This happens every time I come here, which is three times or more per week.

    awesome

My dog loves this park! I love it because it's fenced. Only one negative, some people bring their bigger aggressive dogs in the small dog area. But so far, a really positive experience. I drive 7 miles one way to come to this awesome park.

First time but not last time to visit...

Wonderful layout and very well maintained. Our 5 dogs loved it. Close by and easy to find. This is a hidden gem. Will frequent more often.

    Great dog park

This park has a small dog and large dog section, double fence entry, water fountain for dogs, park benches and pick up stations with bags! What more could you ask for?!

    Best by far

What a hidden gem! Not flat like most dog parks, great for training my hiking dog to come when called but out of direct line-of-sight. Obstacles and ramps to play on, LOTS of shade, several poo stations, dog level water fountains, it is our new favorite dog park. And all of the people we've met there are really nice and not so "clique-ish" like they were in Round Rock. What a great dog park!

    new park

This park is great. There is a good sized fenced in area with obstacles for the dogs to play on. The park is a month old and is still under construction but is fully open. Disc golf course and playground for the family to enjoy as well.
