    Best Dog Park

My dog Wyeth and I were driving cross country from Virginia to Seattle and stopped at many dog parks along the way thanks to Bring Fido. The park in Whitefish was the absolute best of all. It was HUGE. Lots of space to run, well kept, grassy, and the best part was the pond in the middle. Wyeth had the best time splashing around with all the other pups.

    Best park!

We had a lovely time here in the winter. Kokomo loved playing in the snow. So big that we could move away and have our own space, or join up with other pups.

    Best Park Ever!!!!

We live this park & bring our three dogs with us from Seattle just so they can come here to play. The swimming pond is the best feature and our labra-hound runs straight for it and will swim for hours, even in the October cold. The running area includes this big hill with tunnels through it and the dogs love to run up, down, around and through. It’s like a dog version of hide-n-seek. The people of Whitefish are blessed to have such a nice park and should do a better job of picking up their poops - my only complaint is that poo pick-up isn’t really even encouraged. Back in Seattle you would be verbally shamed by multiple people is you just walked off and left a poop. Someone is more likely to say, “ hey your dog pooed, need a bag?” Maybe that sort of campaign would be beneficial here?

    Best park ever!!

We had been in the truck for quite a while during our trip in MT and wanted to give the pups a chance to stretch their legs. This was the cleanest, largest park I have ever been to! All the dogs & owners that were there were very friendly and it did not feel the least bit crowded. The pond is gated off and gives the option of taking home wet dogs which we loved and the agility course was a lot of fun to play with! The only negative thing I have to say is we don't have this at home! We can't wait to come back

    Best dog park paws down!

We have been traveling the country for 16 months and look for dog parks everywhere we go. This is by far the best we park come across in the country! They thought of everything. beautiful pond for swimming, huge areas to run and play ball, drinking water for dogs and their humans. Separate areas for big and littles and just those who need some alone time. Agility toys and more! Dig parks across the country should follow this model!!

    Great park, but very sunny

Be prepared to get some sun. The pond was great for helping the dogs cool off, and there is drinking water available for dogs and humans as well as a bathroom between the dog and skate parks. It was a gorgeous park to visit, and the dogs enjoyed splashing around the pond.

    Awesome Dog Park

Molly is the luckiest dog in the USA . On her vacation from Wisconsin to Glacier she got to visit 4 different dog parks. She rated Hugh Rogers Wag Park #1 I told my husband we should jest leave her there all day and pick her up later (we didn’t leave her) Leaving tomorrow for home. Molly plans to sleep all the 20 hour’s dreaming about how much fun she had in Montana. “God’s Country”

    Kaya’s favorite

Our 1 year old lab mix, Kaya, loved this park! We stopped on our travels from Pennsylvania. She loves to swim and this was perfect.

    Fabulous Dog Park

What a great place to take your dog! From the double gate entry, to the wide open spaces, this is one of the best dog parks I’ve seen. Everyone was attentive to their dogs and scooped the poop. There’s an agility course, a gated pond, people and doggie water fountains, and a great view of Big Mountain. Definitely take Fido. Five bones!

    Great park, but no trails

The pond is completely fenced, gratefully, as we were staying with friends that night. Great walking paths, big running field and separate small dog space. Friendly folks.

    Great Park!!

Makes me sad that we do not live near this amazing park... we were in town visiting family and were looking for a place to let our new and very energetic puppy play and run out some energy... we took him here and I love how safe, big, and cool it is, it had many different things to do and explore. Really help tire him out before our long drive to our next stop. It had water and places to sit and watch the action happen! Also had an awesome swimming area (in side and fully fenced) for a hot day!

Expansive and includes drinking water and a pond

It's a great park for dogs to safely run and have fun. There's a drinking fountain for dogs and people next to the pavilion. A beautiful paved path allows walkers to get in laps...about 1/3 mile per lap. The pond is a great pace to swim and includes fencing. The agility course provides another avenue of exercise and fun. A dog wash station, outside the main fenced area, is being constructed this summer. There are nice new toilets adjacent to the park. If driving north on Highway 93, turn right on E. 2nd Street (see Middle school across the street) and then go about one mile. If driving south on Highway 93, just keep going straight through town and continue on E. 2nd Street. All free....donations accepted to help improve the WAG Park.

    My Dog Loves This Park

This is a great park! Large with good fencing, a small dog area, agility obstacles, and all of it well maintained. We viste regularly while in the area, and m dog became very excited whenever we'd pull into the park. Local people are warm and welcoming, and it's in a good vacation area. I recommend this park

    GREAT Dog Park!!

This is a GREAT Dog Park! It's large, has trees that are still quite young (i.e. not too much shade yet), a pavilion, lots of benches, obstacle course for the dogs, water fountain, two areas (one for small dogs, one for large) and lots of parking!

    Nice spot

A little bit tricky to find if you don't know where to look but a nice area, really clean with permanent agility obstacles and tunnels !
An extension project should include a safe swimming area in the pond, can't wait to go back there in the summer !
