    Good Park

Out baby has fun here. Some of the older small dogs are a bit mean but overall it’s a good time.

    Decent Dog Park

large park with grass and gravel. went on a Friday and there were plenty of dogs to play with. 3 water dishes but no shade. this park would be best early morning or cooler months. nothing fancy and there’s only two benches to sit at.

    So Depressing

Not much to say about this - I hope my dog doesn't find it as depressing as I do!

    Very Big

Not much else to recommend about it, though.

    No shade

I was traveling from the coast back home to eastern WA and wanted to let the pup out of the car for a bit and sit and read myself, without needing to monitor her too closely. Unfortunately it was 95 degrees and there is absolutely no shade. We only lasted ten minutes.

I was looking for a place to let retired greyhound run. Haven't found it.

Oly/Lacey sorely lacking in fenced off-leash dog parks. Powers that be should take a look at Sand Point Dog Park on Lake Washington. Huge, fenced/gated with h2o taps, baggies, small dog area, etc..

    Dog parks in Lacey

Folks - there is only one official off-leash dog park in Lacey. In fact, its the only one in all of Olympia/Lacey. This is just off I-5 at Marvin and is located adjacent to the Thurston Co. dump.

Off of Pacific Ave in Lacey, behind the senior center is The Woodlank Creek Community Park. Yes, a lot of people take their dogs and let them run loose in the field "behind" the kiddie play ground, but you may be ticketed by the Thurston Co. Animal Services if caught. This is an "unofficial" off-lease dog park....buyer beware

    it's lacking

There's no shade cover for hot days. The water spigot was hard to find. There's no garbage pales to leave baggies in. Overall this dog park is lacking big time. Had leave after a short time because I was worried about my dogs over heating. There was NO where to escape the Suns rays. It was a 75° day and just too hot in the direct sun. There's very little grass, it's mostly dirt and the dirt made the heat worse. Disappointed that I pay property taxes but my city has a crappy dog park. It IS hard to spot because it looks like a barren waste land, apart of the dump.

    Clearing Up Location Confusion

The dog park is located on the north side of I-5 off of Marvin Road (take a right after Mayan restaurant). Great park that fully fenced with 2 sections for large and small breeds. Lots of running area, a few water stations when they are thirsty, and the large area also has a fence playground for children. Also great obsticles for those pups who like them.

Robert Reeves, the one off Marvin is right next to the landfill.

    Not bad

The park is behind the playground area once you cross the little bridge. There are no obstacles but there is open ground for your dog to get a good run in. There are no signs posted stating it is an off-leash park and it is not fenced so make sure your dog has manners and good recall.

    Where is the dog park??

I went there and asked a yard worker where the dog park was- He said there wasn't one there but thought there was one off Marvin rd. couldn't find that one either--
