Had a great visit, will return!!

My dog and I had a great visit here! It was a Friday mid day in Feb so it was relatively quiet .The gravel / sand makes for a nice non muddy experience and others owners and their dogs were friendly and well behaved. We almost didn’t come because of a particularly “aggressive “ negative review. But I glad we did ! Look I get it , someone had a bad experience and they need to vent … but here’s the thing when you write a terrible review on a dog park. The only people that are going to take the time to read it are responsible dog owners and then they’ll stay away from that park. The folks who have little control over their out of control dogs tend not to read reviews so they will keep going to the park. So terrible negative review… Kind of defeats the purpose ; )

    Aggressive dogs at the park

I read some reviews saying that there are aggressive dogs at this park but I was hoping that I would have a better experience. Yesterday, I took my 5 month old puppy and she was very excited to be there until a black male dog (not sure what breed) started chasing her and humping aggressively. He was jumping on her causing her to fall on the ground. The owner was nowhere to be found. I always watch my dog when she plays because I want to make sure that she’s not aggressive with other dogs but it looks like that some owners do not care if their dog is ruining the fun. it’s a shame

    Good until....

I went to this dog park for the first time. Mind you my dog is only 4 months old and all the other dogs seem to be 1 and older. At first we were having a great time, my dog was playing and chasing other dogs in a friendly manner. All of a sudden, I can hear my dog in the distance whimpering and a dog is on top of him , biting him aggressively . I calm down my dog and the dog and its owner are no where to be found. I am not to happy about the incident and highly recommend if YOUR DOG IS AGRESSIVE DO NOT GO TO THIS PARK!!!!!! it ruins the experience and atmosphere for the poor puppies overall I give it a 3 because of this.

    address is wrong

Great dog park. However, the address of UNITA PKWY is wrong. It is actually off Yosemite located on the backside of the sports fields that are off UNITA PKWY.

Bring a gallon of water as there is no water faucet at the park.

    Great park!

I visited Denver with my pup, Charlie, and we both loved this park. It has a high energy and low energy side, with lots of room and small hills for the dogs to run around. The park is in a beautiful location as well, which made it more enjoyable for me. No water is provided, so make sure you bring your own. Other dogs and owners I encountered were well behaved and friendly. Will definitely go to this park every time we're in the area!
