    Daree Dog Park

I love this dog park and so does my boy Grayson, we go atleast 2 Days a week. Everyone we have encountered has been nice to me and to him (Pitty) everyone has been open minded and fall in love with him! It’s a small dog park with some muddy areas but dogs love mud, it also has a big irrigation pipe a small three tiered jump and an adjustable hoop jump. It’s big enough for your dog to run around. We love it here!

    It's alright

This park is small, everyone is right about that. However, they do have a tunnel and other agility things for the dogs to play on. There are small trees and a walking path that goes around half of the park. My issue with this park is the people who go to it- most times I've been there it's snobby people who do not know anything about dogs and freak out if another dog even just barks at their dog. Additionally, I once had a man bring his dog who had just been fixed into the park wearing its cone and visible stitches on his hind end where it'd just been snipped.

    At least it's fenced!

Dry, cool, breezy day, so the lack of shade didn't bother us. My dog got some good running in, but this was chasing only me. Unfortunately nobody else was there. We still had fun and exercised.

    Nando Dog Park

Worst dog park in the Columbus area. Small, crowded, no lighting when it gets darker, no shade and when it rains, there are huge areas that are pure mud. There doesn't seem to be a good drainage system. Doesn't seem like the city wanted to provide a nice area for dogs like they provide parks for residents. A serious shame.

My dog loves to play here!!!

My rescue loves to play here. Yes it gets muddy, there is no trees for shade & water fountain doesn't always work but most of the time people bring their own anyway. This FREE dog park is for the dogs anyway so why is everyone so critical?! There is a lot of OLD info here. They DO have grass AND a paved path around half of it(before they made it a bit bigger & added picket fence) so you can walk laps if you choose too while your dog exercises. We are in the big dog area so I don't care about the small area but there's always a nice mix of all sizes of dogs in bigger area. We don't discriminate. You have conflicts w/dogs wherever you go, its the owner's responsibility to watch your dog whenever in public. If you don't like it, stay home & take a walk-just more room for my dog to run & have a great time!

Not That Bad for conveniently being in town!

I've been to Darree Fields many times w/my rescue fox terrier-whippet who loves to run & it works for my easy to please energetic guy! Negatives: it does get muddy( but we have a Facebook page & can usually check in to see if its a good day to skip the park.) This is the only dog park I've been to so can't compare. But I would think anywhere you go, you'll have those owners who don't watch their dogs well & don't mind their 'too friendly' pups getting away w/those embarrassing antics. I've always corrected my dog. Update: They have put in a nice long tunnel and hoop for some agility that the dogs seem to enjoy. The water fountain has worked every time that I've been there. Some one also told me that they have a spicket on the other side of the field to hose off dirty dogs too that many don't know about:) I enjoy going w/Bingo & will continue to do so.

    Nando Dog Park

We live in Dublin, but the other 2 posts are right. The dog park is close to us, but very small and boring. The small dog park is TINY and the large dog park is just a big fenced flat rectangle of grass, no trees, hills or tunnels. I would have thought Dublin could do much better! Onr guy brings his black Great Dane and lets it hump all the other dogs and most people let their small dogs in the large dog park which creates a danger for the little dogs!

    small and crowded

This park is a joke not only small and crowded its half paved and a acre of it is taken up by an electrical tower.

    A sad joke.

Smaller than my backyard, no water, no trees and paved walking surfaces. This was built by government morons who hate dogs and didn't want to have a dog park so they made it as unattractive as the possibly could with three quarters of a million dollars. Someone needs to investigate. This is a horrible facility.
