  Small dogs don't matter

  Appreciate the opportunity to give dogs a good run however Kiwanis Park does NOT have designated small dog area. There is defined large dog free run area, as well as two fenced areas. Neither fenced area is exclusive to pet size/age. Locals share unwritten "rule" that first fenced area is for small dogs but no signage posted indicating such. Small dog owners forced to leave when large dogs enter. Not cool.

  Love Kiwanis Recreation Area!

  Fun for all

  I brought my dogs with me from Nebraska while visiting my husband who was working in Mankato. I was concerned that they wouldn't get much running time. When I saw the park I was amazed at how nice it was. They loved it so much they didn't want to leave. We ended up getting boots for them during the winter but it was worth it. I met some really nice people and their dogs. I highly recommend this park.

  Kiwanis Dog Park

  I take my dogs to this park all of the time. They have two areas, one for the larger dogs and one for the smaller dogs, both fenced in. My dogs love to go and run through the woods, and I love it because they are totally fenced in and they can't get out.
