  DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  I brought my 8 lb dog there today. 2 women brought there large dogs into the small dog area. A doberman ran over to my lil dog playing with his toy and attacked him. My poor dog was flung up into the air. There was no park ranger to be found. The lady was laughing saying my dog was fine. I rushed my dog to the ER. He is all bandaged and can barely walk. He is still shaking. This park is clearly unsafe for small dogs and is not being monitored. My dog may never walk again because of this. I cannot believe they do not have a park ranger to make sure dogs are in right places. I also am still shaking. This park is unsafe and your dog can be killed here. It deserves zero bones.

  Our little 4 pound chihuahua had a blast!

  We are from Canada and we're staying in the area for a few weeks, and we're searching for a nice dog park. Man oh man, were we happy with this park. There is a section for smaller dogs and another section for bigger dogs. There is shade, places to sit, and it was so clean. Honestly best dog park I've ever been to. A few other pups were around, and all were great. Will definitely come back on our next trip. :)

  We come every weekend!

  Every Sunday we come to this park and my doggo loves it. The people and dogs are very friendly. My dog is always pooped afterwards. Very clean and well maintained

  Great view in a nice park

  Prince Ajax and I enjoyed a ice time here while passing through WPB.

  Huge park with lots to do and dog friendly

  We were visiting from WI. We checked out almost all the options to do at the big park and got to enjoy it with our dog.

  Great park

  Great park my Doberman and I come 5 to 6 days people are very friendly you have your bad apples with their pits but as a whole park is a great place

  Very Clean And Pretty

  This park, about the size of a football field, is inside a very beautiful large park with lakes. The big-dog-dog park is clean and shady and overlooks a beautiful lake with aspiring water skiers learning their sport (very neat to watch). It has about 10 benches and a gazebo for shade. The small-dog park next to it has a similar setup.
  A note here: when reviewing a park, can we leave personal experiences aside? Those aggressive encounters are not really descriptively the park itself. EVERY dog park will have random agro dogs and scuttles between pooches. You learn to size up the crowd and leave or stay depending on the energy level of the park. I met 5 dogs today and all were sweet.

  Great park!

  This park is up on a hill and surrounded by so much greenery and water that it's always much cooler than surrounding areas. Dogs are separated by weight - 30lbs. under/over - and each run is big enough for as many as a couple of dozen dogs to run around happily before it starts to feel overcrowded. It has shade trees, benches, water fountains, restrooms, and a dog washing area. Like anywhere else, most of the people here are friendly and responsible (as are their dogs), but there is the occasional "bad apple". Park rangers do drop by and check for licenses/rabies tags (and will come if summoned), but most "policing" is accomplished by other dog owners - ie. don't expect to get away with not cleaning up after your dog, and don't be surprised if a whole gang of people ask you to leave should your dog display aggression. There is always a couple of dirt patches - since dogs, being dogs, like to dig - but, on the whole, I find this park to be very well maintained and a pleasure to visit.

  Lots of dogs there but it's a well kept park with separate space for large and small dogs plus water fountains for dogs. Grassy with walking path

  Too Dangerous for Small Dog

  We are new to Greenacres. We took our dog to the dog park a few weeks ago and it was a great experience despite the fact that there were many dogs in the small dog section. We took our dog back today. There was only one elderly woman with her dog there. Her dog looked like an older corgi mix. As soon as we came in with our dog, who was still leashed, her dog took an aggressive stance and charge my dog. It all happened so fast that I did not have the chance to pick up my dog. The other dog bit my dog in two spots and drew blood. If my husband had not kicked the dog away, God only knows how much damage he would have done to my dog. The owner did not try to call the dog off. She blamed my dog because he was still on a leash. She said if my dog was unleashed, her dog would not have attacked. When I left the dog park, I stopped a Ranger who said there was nothing he could do. There needs to be more supervision in the dog park to make sure that aggressive dogs are removed by their owners. I will never bring my dog back there.

  Aggressive Dogs

  Beautiful setting and services, and nice amenities, often ruined by overly aggressive dogs, inattentive owners. Recently 2 pitbulls attacked another dog and its owner, ambulances, police and sheriff responded. There were injuries to humans and dogs. Owners often slow to respond to requests to control their dogs. In the past this was a nice dog park with responsible owners. Could use more supervision/patrolling by rangers and police.

  Used to be nicr, now not

  This used to be a nice dog run, with two large areas for big and small dogs. There is an area where you can wash your dog. Sometimes you can still have a nice experience there, but there are many aggressive dogs and no supervision.

  dangerous for small dogs...

  People do not respect dog breed or size limit. Went today to find lady with Husky in small dog side; hubby and I told her her that dog is on wrong side of park. She would not leave stating that her dog is just a puppy. It was over size limit. This is a use at your own risk place. Spoke to park ranger on phone after we got home and she told me that happens unfortunetly alot there...WHAT? Staff was cut and Rangers are around on weekends more; but you can call. She could send someone out but who knows how long it would take. Ranger even apologized and said she wishes it was different. Also back area of park dangerous as people like to leave big dogs off leash. We had a 90lb Rottweiler dog charge us going after our 7lb leashed dog. Luckily I could leg block and my hubby being a big/tal guy scooped up our baby to shield. Owner was apologetic but no proper correction was made to his menace of a dog. Super pissed off at that experience. So BEWARE of people mixing up small/large side of Pooch Pines AND walking around that back area of dog Park by the water.

  Not the Park it used to be.

  I will not allow my wife to take our 4 month old puppies or any other dog we will own to this park ever again. My Wife was attacked by a rather large dog on Sunday 10 19- 14 in the early evening, This dog running towards her at full speed . Being the observant person she is, saw him coming and prepared to protect the puppies. Jumping for her face. My wife was able to fend the dog off by kneeing the dog in his chest while he lurched at her. At the same time keeping our puppies out of harms way. She however did not fare as well. Being bit on the face and knocked down, she is covered in scrapes and bruises upon her face, arm, wrist chest and hip. What enrages me the most is that the four so called adults whom were sitting and not watching or caring for their dogs ( one of which is the owner of the dog whom attacked) never got off the bench to help, leash their dog or have the common humanity to ask if she was okay. Thankfully our one puppy went after the dog in protection of her Mommy. This action and my wife kneeing the dog truly lead to a safe return home for them all. If you choose to visit this park......beware of owners whom are inattentive and for a large white and black dog. We have placed a report with all agencies and have photos of my wife's
  injuries on file with the PBSO. Beware....Not a Safe Dog Park! My next mission is to work towards having security cameras installed in all large gathering areas of the Park.

  Agro dogs

  Great park. 99.9% perfect. Plenty of room and lots of great dogs. If it weren't for the people who bring their 100lb aggressive/dominate dogs every now and then we'd go everyday.

  Small park

  Have they changed the location of the dog park in the last year or so. Been at least that long since I was there. Dog area was very small in my opinion. No more than an acre for large dogs and an acre for small dogs. Seems a shame since the park is so huge.

  We love this park! The dogs have SO much room to run! Its fun to watch all the dogs interact. We just started going and plan to be there often!!

  Love Pooch Pines

  Took my Shiba Inu puppy Neo after hearing about this dog park. Very nice, large, and the scenery is amazing. My puppy had a blast. Will be going 2x a week from now on.

  Dog Lover

  My dogs and I love Pooch Pines. Parking is a little limited at peak times. Plenty of trees, benches, and a nice paved walking path. We are there 3-4 times per week.

  Pooch pine Park

  I bring my dog 'Shorty' to this dogpark at least 5 days aweek. he loves it! Very large area for the dogs to run & play! Wenesday, is clean up day, from 12-3pm, Wish they would do it 2x aweek, to many flies because of urine.
