    Small and can be Yucky

It’s great living so close to a dog park but sadly if there has been any kind of precipitation this place gets all mucky and the sand turns into a mess. This place only is really great if it’s been dry for a while or it has fresh snow. Any weather makes for a sandy slush quicksand mess that will stick to your shoes and require a serious wipe down of your dog.

    Clean and busy

I like to take my little gal places with lots of dogs to play with. Definitely lots of traffic here. Nice and clean too. AND theres a separate spot for smaller or lower energy dogs. We'll definitely be back

Lots Of Dogs, Lots Of Fun

At 3 in the afternoon on a Sunday, this park was packed! Up to 13 dogs at one time with pups constantly coming and going. Tons of tennis balls available to keep fetch friendly. My dobermans had a blast on the “high energy” side and even tho snow had melted everywhere, the well-drained sandy ground prevented a muddy mess. So many happy dogs - we’ll be back.

    Railyard Dog Park

Our huskies enjoyed themselves as much as they could. We went in the winter so there were snow, and they loved it.

It looked like it was dirty underneath it, so it probably gets muddy.

Most of the dogs were friendly, but it can get too busy for the park size. Luckily there were just a few dogs when we got there, but when we left, a lady showed up with like 10 dogs (from tiny to big).

    Why 4 stars?

#1 - I saw blood in the ground with paw prints, but I wasn't there to see what happened

#2- The dogs drinking water fountain looked gross.

kinda yucky but passable in a pinch

big puddle of neon green sludge in the middle of the park, doesn't smell great but it did the trick I guess

    Too small

I am spoiled but felt that this dog park was too small to accommodate the number of large dogs that were there. Not well controlled dogs either. Several dog fights occurred in the short time we were there. We were there on a Sunday afternoon. Better to go during off times.

    Small but busy

When we went , it was pretty hot outside, the fountains were not working but this seems to be the them with all Denver parks for some reason . The park was smaller , but didn't feel comfortable as there were children unsupervised despite the rules posted on the gate. I liked the separate area for smaller dogs but this wasn't being used by anyone. The park was busy which didn't accommodate it's size. I'v been to better, but this one was very convenient.
