  Basic but the pups like it

  Nothing special about this park but I appreciate the city's effort and the fact that it's free! The pups don't mind walking the same circle over and over (apparently 5 laps = 1 mile). I definitely appreciate the paved path. Careful stepping in the grass, though. Not everyone is considerate enough to pick up after their dogs. Some of the pups have been the over-friendly/ruff playing type but the vast majority that we've encountered have good doggie manners. Bring your own water since there is no water source but there's usually bowls around. It's too bad they can't put some kind of donation box for upkeep, tennis balls, a water fountain, etc. All in all, I do enjoy this park.

  Horrible people

  The people in that area are horrible and there were many dog fights. My dog was attacked twice and no one can control their dogs. Never going back.

  Great place to socialize your pup

  I have two hyperactive boys that love to play, and this park has open space for them to run off their energy! It has two benches, two water bowls, while they have bowls, water is not accessible on site- so most people bring a water jug with them to share. Also provided are pet waste bags(always a good idea to bring some extra bags though)and disposal area.

  Great place!

  Thank goodness for local dog parks, where pooches can run free and find a pal! This place would be rated a 5 if it had trees for shade.

  Roy Dog Park

  Our dog loved visiting friends and making new ones. The park has no benches, water, or doggy bags, yet, so bring your own. The dogs don't care! They have a ball and run their legs off. One pooch did pick up a sticker, but ours didn't - I think they are few. Thanks, Roy.
