    Best Dog Park Ever

This dog park has two areas for small and large dogs. It gets cleaned every Thursday 7-9am, we visited twice on Wednesday and the place was spotless. There is also an adventure area that has tons of bushes and rocks to explore (enclosed of course). What makes this spectacular is the views of the red rock formations of Sedona as the backdrop!

    Great park!

This is the best dog park we have been to ever! Beautiful! The fenced hiking area was amazing. Gate was not locked

Agree with everyone, amazing dog park

You can't be the location or views. The gate was open (no code) necessary. There is even a small area that is fenced off for an off leash hike.

    Best dog park ever

we were in Sedona for the Sedona 5k. we had not researched the dog park just went there for the first time. it is huge and clean and a great mix of community dogs seemingly at all hours. it also has a fenced hiking trail which our dogs especially enjoyed. good time by all

    Beautiful, unique and clean

Arrived with the gate unlocked. Very clean, quiet and great views. Water on site for pups. Loved the hike/trail fenced in portion as well.

Gate Open When I Was There

There is a security coded gate as mentioned by another review - but the week that I was there (Aug. 2021) it was always unlocked, so I don’t think it’s enforced. Lovely dog park and absolutely the prettiest one I’ve ever been to in the whole United States. The views alone are just stunning. The big side has some fake grass but the small side is just dirt and sand - but it’s still lovely. I suppose grass is too much to ask for in this stunning Desert city water is scarce, but my California pugs were looking for a place to potty. We moved over to the big side when we saw all the dogs there were so sweet. They have water pools on both sides that’s great in the heat - and the dogs love it. Highly recommended and make sure to bring your camera!

    Locals only - locked entrance

This is a warning to all non-locals trying to use the dog park. The gate has a lock so you are not able to enter without the code. There was not an option to pay for day use, which I would have gladly done. Seems like a great park for locals who know the code, just don't waste your time if you're not local. Next to the park is a hiking trail which we enjoyed instead. The parking lot is small though and has a 1 hour limit so don't wander for too long on the trail.

    Beautiful Views

Overall nice dog park with great views. Went 3 times during the week and there were hardly any dogs. mostly dirt surface with a patch of fake grass. downside is that the water foundation was not working- locals said the city turns it off in the winter...

    Great Location

this is a wonderful dog park. the views are amazing and relaxing. I did notice a bit of old poop about and a lot of the time there aren’t many dogs during the week.

Love the fenced hiking area and can’t imagine another dog park on earth having these views!

    Beautiful!

The address listed takes you too far so keep an eye out. Beautiful scenery, very clean park with water. There are two separate sized parks but also separate fenced in hiking area. The park is also located near some nice small hiking trails across the street.

    We Love This One

It’s smaller, but the best dog owners ever! Everyone picks up, they encourage playing, there’s ample water and a hose for rinsing and baby pool if hot. The red rock clay made our pup’s paws White paws pink, but so what?! She ran and played and got pooped out in 30 minutes.

    one of the best!

The actual park is at the corner of Caruth and Soldiers Pass — the listed address was confusing.
LOVED it! Best one in awhile! Not huge, but super clean, maintained and friendliest owners we’ve met! Beautiful scenery too.

    beautiful but messy

Loved this dog park! It was beautiful and my dog loved it. However since it is all dirt your dog will get completely covered in red dust and it's hard to get off, even with a bath!

    Beautiful scenery

Good spot for dogs of all sizes. Nice shade spots for the pawrents! All dirt park, and plenty of drinking water.

    Awesome Dog Part

Loved the big hiking area in the back. Didn't have to worry about my dog exploring the huge fenced in area.

    Great Fido fun!

Scenic location, small dog and large dog area, has covered area with picnic tables for shade. Water hose, separate area for a small hike uphill in a fenced "primitive" area.
