  I’ve been here with my dog a few times. he is a large dog and I think there area is on the small side. i did not have any issues with the people or dogs. The one thing that really annoys me is that Wantagh Park has a beautiful paved walking trail by the water. However, even leashed dogs are not allowed on the trail. if dogs were allowed on the trail I’d give the park 5 stars.

  NEVER AGAIN!

  Absolutely dangerous dog park! I brought my husky there. He was attacked by one vicious dog, which in turn caused TWENTY other dogs to join in and attack my husky! The owner of the vicious dog stood there and did NOTHING! My husband risked his own life to save our husky from the wrath of the vicious dog and the mob of dogs that joined the attack of my dog. NEVER BRING YOUR DOG HERE, VERY IRRESPONSIBLE OWNERS!!! If you want to bring your dog to a safe dog park, bring them to bellmore dog park. The owners there seem to be responsible!

  Great park with great dogs and decent owners. I go at a certain time to avoid certain people and dogs. Although, pretty much all the dogs are good. People need to be better at picking up the poops.

  I have been here a hand full of times the owners are very nice friendly and social they keep eyes on the pooches i do love that it is Astro turf so no mud puddles and dirty dogs when i leave .. haven’t meet any mean dogs yet ... it is worth the travel it’s decent size...

  My golden retriever was attacked and bitten by a vicious dog in this park and the owner dd nothing about it. I advise you to stay away from this place as it is not safe due to irresponsible dog owners.
