  just to be clear— the water is considered the barrier on one half of the park. the rest is fenced and they have a smaller fully-fenced area for smaller & older pups.

  Great Park!

  This is a great park with lots of flat grassy areas with a few trails through more wooded sections. Has access to water for those swimming addicted dogs!

  Misleading location

  If this dog park is in Madison, why does the map link put it in Racine, some 100 miles away?

  Amazing!

  Some family members live in Madison and we have a very active dog whom we do not trust off leash without a fence. So, we made the drive across town while visiting recently to Warner Dog Park. Although it's a bit difficult to find, once you do, your dog will thank you! It's EIGHT ACRES of grass, trees and a lake! Our dog almost didn't know what to do with herself! I am taking away one star for the fact that there is no water pump or fountain available to water yourself or your dog but at least they can cool off in the lake/marsh. It's $5 for non-residents, payable at a station before entering the park. Bring towels, sunscreen and water!
