Cathedral Aisle Trail

The Cathedral Aisle Trail is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization that is working to create a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and connecting corridors. Previously an unused railroad corridor, this "rail-trail" is now a great place to walk Fido in Aiken! The map below shows a parking area with convenient access to the Cathedral Aisle Trail. Hard to locate using BringFido info

We had difficulty finding this trail using BringFido’s website data. Stopped into the local visitor center and received a detailed map of Hitchcock Woods. If using s GPS, enter the intersection of Hitchcock Parkway and Dibble Road. Turn R onto Dibble Road and look for a driveway to the R and close to near a series of small white buildings/containers. Park near the wooden fence, then walk to the left where you will see a gate leading into The Hitchcock Woods. Walk to the L to find Cathedral Aisle Trail. Please Note:All of the trails in The Hitchcock Woods are dog friendly!
