    Not good

Very aggressive dogs , my dog was snipped at 2 times completely unprovoked. Bad dog owners . Poop everywhere. Would never go back !

    Rude board member

I was at the dog park today with my dogs and my child, who i was holding his hand was rudely approached by a member of you board telling me this a dog park the play area is over there. She refused to give me her name but she was an older bigger gal with her husband a golden retriever that had a muzzle of and three small dogs. Her dog with the muzzle tried to attack me dog and then proceeded to tell me that my child was not welcome in the dog park. I then stated there is no rule against it and advised her about the aggression of her dog. She then continued to come at me and tell me that she can see why im a single mom, because i put her in her place. I then advised her that i wasnt a single mom and this woman on the board continuously came at me with rude and disrespectful accusations and words. I have been going to Alimagnet dog park for 4 yrs and have never been treated so rudely especially by a board member.

    Pond is a disaster

We love the location, but can’t go here anymore... between the nasty pond water (with bacteria warnings in the summer) and rude owners who don’t watch or clean up after their dogs, we have given up trying!

    Finally!

After a LONG road trip from TX to MN, we FINALLY found a legit, fenced in dog park that was big enough and safe enough for her to run and play with other dogs! If you're traveling and your dog needs out of the vehicle, this park is worth the detour.

    Love this park

My dog and I come here at least three times a week. She loves it! Lots of room to run around in the woods near the walking path and in the field. She loves to swim in the pond, but it would be nice if there was a way to clean it up. Everyone that comes here is super friendly, and so are the dogs!

    Great Winter Spot

This is our favorite winter spot - the pond is frozen over, the shelter has a heater on a timer, and the dog water bowls are also heated. In the summer, we haven't had issue with the pond. There is a dog wash station by the parking lot. The regular visitors are awesome with super nice, well mannered dogs. I've encountered two unsocial dogs/people who did not belong at any dog park. The park's newsletter is trying to address this and educate members, so I must not be the only one with this experience. Please seek training or keep dogs at home who aren't used to or open to playing with groups of other dogs.

    Dogs love the park

the park has flooded in the past and can be very muddy in the spring and the pond has been closed due to salmonella outbreaks but otherwise its beautiful and has a great circular trail and lots of space for dogs to run. small dog area is nice but is barely occupied

    Alimagnet

This park is generally a great place for dogs & their people - nice gazebo with fresh water and lots of space to run. It's one drawback is that the pond water is absolutely disgusting - dogs come out covered in algae and may get sick from drinking the water. If the pond could be cleaned up we would visit much more often!
