    Fun Fun

This was our first time at this park. The dog park was great. Big, nice dogs/owners, plenty of water. After we were told about the beach, we had to take the small hike to get there. Our pup Pria, had the time of her life!!

    So Many Doggie Options

If you are looking for a fenced in area for your dog to run, they have sections for small and large dogs. There is also a beach for dogs, just a small hike from the dog parks. If dog socialization or water play is not your focus, there are plenty of very nice paths and trails to get a nice walk in with your dog. There is no cost for active duty or prior military... thank you

Nice dog parks, trails and dog beach

Beautiful park! 6$ entrance fee well worth it. Even a shower to rinse away the saltwater.

    So much fun

I took my 4 month lab mix here and it was his first beach experience. He had a blast. I took him early so the experience wouldn’t be overwhelming with lots dogs and a new environment. It worked perfectly. We got there at 7:30am and there was only one other couple there with their dogs. He made a friend and had fun exploring the beach. We will be back!

    Favorite Dog Beach

I’m a travel RN and my chocolate lab, Khloe Bear comes with me! She loves to swim and chase tennis balls and meet other friends…and this is the place to get all of that and more!

    Aggressive Dogs

While my small dog and I were swimming, my dog was attacked by a loose big dog. The owner had to pull her dog by the fur because her dog was not listening and was coming after my friend. I love the Park but I will never come back. My dog was taken to the hospital where he got stitches. The owner of the dog gave false information about her phone number and left the scene once she knew my dog was badly injured.

    AGGRESSIVE DOGS

The park overall is super nice, two dog parks as well as a nice overlook and an off leash beach. However, upon taking my dog to the off leash beach, a large dog came up and began barking at my dog then bit his tail. My dog is now bleeding. This is the owners fault, however there should be protective measures against this as we weren’t even in the beach area when the dog came and attacked.

2 Dog Parks And A Beach

Long shaded trails. Always a breeze. Dog spray off station. Human restrooms. Deer. Sandy beach protected by stone jetties on each side. Fresh water and big bowls!

    Great Park!!

We drove from Virginia for a long weekend and found this gem! Clean beach, responsible owners. Dogs had fun swimming, running off leash. This beach is a long stroll from the parking lot. Bring a chair and some water. Not Enclosed but only one entry and owners watch out for the dogs. went for 30 minutes, stayed 3 hours!

    Love Quiet Waters!

We walk our dog at Quiet Waters at least once a week. He loves the dog beach and meeting lots of other dogs on the trails. Owners here are good about leashing their dogs and we haven't had any issues with unfriendly dogs or owners. On weekends, there are usually a good number of dogs playing together at the beach. Nice to have a separate dog park as well, though our 7 month old is still a bit too timid to hang with the big dogs. Staff are very friendly and alway offer our boy a treat on the way in. Well worth the $30 annual pass if you are an Anne Arundel County resident.

Great dog beach & beautiful park, worth $6

My dog Yuba and I visited the park last weekend and had a blast. The dog park up the trail is large and has plenty of shade and seating. The dog beach is small and decently secluded - unfenced so make sure your dog has good recall. There weren't any issues with roaming dogs for the two hours I was there. Sandy beach, rocky jut out, gentle tide, shallow water. We had a blast!

    Dog Beach Open!

Nice park, with separate areas for large and small dogs, fresh water and toys (some) available. Good group of dogs on a regular basis. Despite some reviews saying the dog beach is closed, permanently closed, etc. the beach is open and available as of July, 2016. It's a nice area for the dogs to play, although not fenced in as the dog park up the hill is.

    Beautiful park

Although the dog beach is closed (erosion), we still had a lovely afternoon walking the many, many trails. We are not fans of off-leash dog parks because people generally don't pay good attention to their dogs, Quiet Waters has a large dog and a small dog area with double gates. The large area even had a baby pool in it. We were there early afternoon and the large dog area was in good use (but, like I said, several people not paying attention to their dogs.)

We'll absolutely go back to walk more of the trails!

    Great Park

I took my 1yr old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel there today and he had a great time. There is both a small dog/ big dog section to the park. We started off in the small dog area which is a decent size with benches for people to sit and plenty of shade. Once he was comfortable we went to the big dog section and all the dogs were friendly, the owners were on top of them to behave well, there was running water with bowls and plenty of cleanup supplies. My dog is definitely sleeping well tonight. The dog beach is still closed however. Park officials said it MIGHT be open for the 2014 summer season. Visited 9/20/13. You have to pay $6 to get into the park but they let us in for free as a trial to see if we liked it or not. very friendly people. Would give it 5 bones if the beach were open.

    Beautiful Park

This park is wonderful, although the beach is still closed and will be for awhile due to erosion. Lots of walking trails and a great fenced in off-leash area to play. Bring your lunch and enjoy the walking trails! We will be back.
