    Love This Park!

Wonderful place to take dogs! There are a few different trail options, all very dog-friendly. On Sundays, however, mountain bikes are allowed on some of the trails so be careful!

    Amazing camping and trails!

This is such a beautiful park with tidy and spacious camp sites. We are a tent camping couple that loves getting out in the woods with our pupper. All of the trails here are well maintained and the park ranger staff was friendly and incredibly helpful. An amazing campground to stay or visit and bring your dog along!

    Great Park

Great place to walk your pup.
Due to COVID many things are closed such as restrooms and the boating lake.

Great Place To Go For A Hike

We have enjoyed the trails here for years, and have even camped here on several occasions. The park has become more and more crowded over time, and with more disrespectful dog owners allowing their dogs to run off-leash. The rangers ask that this is reported when it’s seen, but it’s hard for them to enforce.

Recommendation: if crowded trails and inconsiderate dog owners bother you and your pup, go just when the park opens or at the very end of the day. You’re much less likely to have any issues at off-peak times. Also, there’s generally a good number of mountain bikers on the trails, but if you’re out to avoid them, go on a day when bikes aren’t allowed or go super early in the day.

    Love it!

We have 2 dogs that love the water and they had a blast swimming in the lake. We were so happy to find out that they were allowed off leash to enjoy the water. They just couldn't be off leash and in the water in the designated swimming area or the boat dock.

    Awesome trails!

We spent almost two hours walking the trails with my pup, then lounged on the benches by the lake to relax. It's a beautiful park!
