Such a gorgeous park for your dog to run around in, but the perimeter is not entirely fenced, and some sections that are fenced are barely knee high. I figured I could keep a close eye on my dog around those low areas, but I was bummed when other park-goers told me some areas on the hillside aren't fenced at all, there's just vegetation. I was worried my dog would get loose onto the streets of Portland, so we went back on leash and left.

This is a great off-leash park for dogs. It's basically a forest with tons of room for dogs to run around and explore. My dog loves it and always comes home tired out! Highly recommend!

This is a great dog park! There is a lot of room to play in a wooded and mostly fenced hillside area. There is, however, a problem with occasional aggressive dogs whose owners fail to see the problem and permit their dogs to dominate other dogs with excess bordering on fighting.
Please bring your dog, play, and restrain or remove her when she she or he becomes aggressive to other dogs or people. Aggressive play can turn to a full-on dogfight in seconds. It can quickly become impossible to stop the fight leading to vet bills, doctor bills, or worse.
