    Nice Park, No signs

The address isn't useful. you need to find the park on google maps and go there. There are almost no signs for the dog park.

    Best kept secret

Our big collie boy loved his mornings here. All of the dogs ( on the large dog side) were sweet and friendly. The people were so friendly.

    Nice space

We are visitors to the island for a month. The park was spacious and my Feist mix had a good romp but she tried to hop the fence when she spotted a squirrel. If I hadn’t screamed like a crazy woman she would have succeeded. Unfortunately I won’t feel safe taking her back there. Our park back home has 8 ft fencing, and sometimes it looks like sho could scale that one, too!

Nice Park, Nice People, Nice Dogs

This is a very nice park, with lots of space for dogs to run and play, plenty of shade, fresh water for the dogs, and when we were there, lots of nice dogs to play with. people were friendly, while keeping a safe distance between, and our dogs had a great experience! I wish we could go back, but we’re snowbirds headed south for the winter, and this was our last day in the area.

Nice park this time of year

We rode our bikes from the hotel. Great park. Good size. Small and large dog areas. Had water fountains and shovels for poo and hole diggers to fix holes. No bus when we went but even the locals who were the said they wouldn't come up this on the in the summer because they are too many bugs. Lots of trees for great shade though.

    Huge Dog Park

We had a beautiful stroll throughout Chaplan park to get to the dog park. Also, the dog park was one of the biggest I have ever seen. I liked how they had another fenced in area for the smaller dogs. My dog loved drinking out of the water fountains. Also, there were tons of tennis balls and toys for the dogs to play with. The dog park was heavily shaded by a lot of trees, so it helped cool the area down. There are also designated digging areas- which a lot of dogs laid down in to cool off. For the owners, there are doggy clean up stations with hand sanitizer after you have cleaned up after your pooch. This was definitely one of the key points of our trip.

    Nice And Shady

This is a beautiful, very small, dog park. It was cool and cloudy the day we visited, but I can see how it would be very popular during the warmer months as it is nicely shaded all over. Very well maintained and clean. The directions on BringFido did not bring us to the right spot, so be sure to take the directions from the website instead.

    Huge Dog Park!!!

I have two large dogs that need a lot of room to run and this is by far the biggest dog park I've seen. It has to be 2 acres on the large dog side. I was very surprised by this place. It was all shaded and had water fountains, tennis balls, and poop bags. The dogs loved it! My suggestions to anyone going would to bring bug spray and wear some kind of closed toed shoes. There's not much grass, it's mostly dirt. So my feet got super dirty in flip flops. I'm not really one to care but shoes would have been nice :)

    Bring bug spray!

The park is AWESOME. I agree with all the positives listed in the reviews thus far, but have some advice: make sure you bring bug spray! Being a cooler spot away from the beach, the mosquitos are rampant.

    Awesome Dog Park

This dog park is under a huge thick canopy of trees which made the temperaure great for our dogs who don't care for the heat so much. Plenty of benches, 2 water fountains for the dogs and tennis balls everywhere. Our Labradoodle and Rottie LOVED it!

    One of the best!

We really enjoyed this park and would highly recommend it to everyone. Not only is the park itself nice, but so were the folks that were at the park. Also, there is a public (very well maintained) restroom very close. Well worth a visit !!

    Very nice

This free dog park has a lot of trees and the park is almost completely in the shade, which was nice for hot days. It was clean and the ground is mostly covered in bark. There is a path that goes through the middle of the park to some benches, and there is a separate area for small dogs. There were clean up bags, trash cans, and a water fountain.
