    Dog-friendly!

I took my 9 lb mix Maggie here. It was hot that day but there were plenty of shady spots and even dog water stations. Maggie even got to ride the gondola in the dog car! She was even allowed inside (at least no one said anything since I was holding her). The bridge, however, was a little scary with big gaps for her tiny paws so I just carried her. Overall, a great place to be able to take your fur buddy.

    VERY dog friendly!

The whole park is nice. They even have a sign out front saying they are dog friendly and where the dogs are allowed an where thery are not. It was 100° when we went. SUGGESTION: bring booties for your dogs feet or be ready to get them into the shade. There's a lot of paved walkways and they were very hot. Our dog is small so we carried her a lot. Even the bridge wooden walkway was hot for her. They do have kennels where they can stay for a bit while you go ziplining or somewhere they're not allowed. And they had a few nice grassy areas where they could hang out for a bit too. We went on the gondola with our dog. They just asked the other riders that were going to be with us if they were OK riding with a dog. (Who wouldn't?)

    Awesome - Well Worth Admission

I was hesitant to go bc I was scared of the bridge, but the whole park is neat! SUPER DOG FRIENDLY - I couldn’t even buy the tickets without my husband and dogs coming inside! They have a dog friendly car on the gondola and my pups loved it! Hold onto the dogs on the other side bc there’s lots of wildlife! cold beers at a little shaded oasis before you cross the bridge back. So beautiful - right up there with Pike’s Peak!

Expensive and not that fun for the dogs

Pricey to get in. Walking the bridge is about all the dogs would enjoy. $30 per person

    Good experience

The only reason they didn't get 5 bones is because we went on a week day and not all their small food places were open. It would have been nice to know that, as we were looking for a bottle of water for Hilton after riding the gondola. The gondola even had a dog friendly gondola, and when we found an open restaurant, the kind lady offered to give me a cup of water for Hilton. After crossing the bridge, they also had a doggy bowl spot.

    Royal Gorge

Super disappointed that they now CHARGE just to walk across the bridge. I've been here before and it's always been free. They charge for zip lining, rafting, the train ride, the cable car, and the bungee thing. How about just letting folks WALK? So sad. We turned around and left, and we loved Royal Gorge before.

    Very Doggo Friendly

We had a wonderful time here with our large (60 lbs) furbaby! The staff are all so wonderful and our baby was able to tour all the grounds with us. They do have complementary kennels in case your doggo is not having a great time!

Most Dog Friendly Park I’ve Visited

I didn’t see one place in the park that didn’t allow dogs. Well, naturally they wouldn’t be allowed on some of the attractions. All dogs we encountered were well behaved. Great BringFido experience.

    Stunning Views

Our pup enjoyed walking over the bridge although some of the boards were a little spaced out and he caught his paw down one - no harm done. It was a hot (90F) and windy day and the blacktop was so hot we had to carry our pup to save his paws from burning, lucky for us he’s still small. Due to the wind the gondola was shut down, which was unfortunate but called for. There was no partial refund, but I think we could use our tickets to go back again or something (I didn’t quite understand what they guy said). $29 a person, a bit pricey but the views were good.

    Beautiful views!

This was one of our first stops on mine and my pup's recent trip to Colorado, and we were both impressed! The park staff were super friendly (especially to my dog!) and kept offering him cool water throughout our stay. Dogs are allowed almost anywhere in the park, except for at the theater and at the cafe. There is a restaurant on the grounds that has outdoor, dog-friendly seating, and dogs are even allowed in the gift shop. This was the priciest stop we made on our trip, so I'm not sure if it would have been worth it for more than a couple of people. But if you're in a small group or traveling solo, it's definitely worth stopping by!

    My Dog Loved It!

On our first road trip with our 75lb lab we brought him tho Royal Gorge bridge. The place was not packed, (Monday) so it was good for us. Some kiosks have dog water bowls outside - food there is expensive though. There were other dogs there too and staff was very friendly to our dog. There is a poop hill and bags available. I would recommend taking the gondola first and then walk back because it will be downhill and easier.

    Great Afternoon Out

Lovely place to take your dog. Cable cars are dog friendly and a nice short walk across the bridge.

    Lovely views

The Royal Gorge Bridge and Park is pretty dog friendly but will run you about $26 a person. Your dog is allowed on the entire grounds (including the Gondala ride) except inside buildings as long as they are leashed and well behaved. They also provide complimentary kennels for any dogs who have issues with walking across the suspension bridge or have issues with heights or are just not friendly. There is also a beautiful rim trail that is accessible without paying the fee. The views from the suspension bridge are very pretty. There are also rides/attractions for an additional cost such as zip ling and skycoaster but the gondala is included in the ticket price. If you are looking for food in Canon City there isn't too much dog friendly so come prepared or eat at the park.
