Dogs and their people can romp off-leash on 11 acres in the South End Park located on Lower Washington Street. The park provides poop-and-scoop bags, has a dedicated parking lot, and is open year round. For people not into playing with pups, there's even a walking trail and Bocce ball. Dogs must be under voice control when off-leash.

I'm not a city dweller and my pup and myself do not like the leash. We were near the area and heard of this place. After all day in the car. We brought Max to this park... He was able to run free, meet and play with local dogs, swim in the river. The drool was hanging and all was wonderful. You can even bring yourself a picnic and eat while your dog plays and socializes. Very cool.

Great open space for dogs to run free

This is a beutiful park with river access if your dog is inclined to climb down the rocks... Only downside is that there is no barrier between park and parking lot... DRIVE SLOWLY WHEN YOU ENTER.

    Swell park

Well maintained grass. Friendly people. Mostly retrievers chasing balls then taking a swim in the river. When in Bath (all summer) I take my dog to the park twice a day. My friends are there and my dog's doggy friends are there, too.
