Mount Antero Trail
Mount Antero Trail is a challenging 9.2-mile hike in the San Isabel National Forest outside of Buena Vista, CO. This pet-friendly hike brings you to a series of tight, short and steep switchbacks on Mount Antero, the tenth highest Fourteener. There isn't a lot of water on the trail aside from a creek at the beginning, so be sure to pack some for your journey. The trail begins at the Baldwin Gulch/Mount Antero trailhead with parking located along CR 162, just west of Alpine.
