Pacific Crest Trail to Eagle Rock is a moderately easy, 5.5 mile hike in Cleveland National Forest that will take about 2.5 hours to complete with Fido. This beautiful hike will allow you to enjoy some solitude. The terrain and climate varies wildly ranging from an area with shade trees to a desert wash. Your dog will delight in the soft ground, flowing water, and wildlife. This can be a very hot trail, especially in the summer.

    One of my favorites!!

Easy and extremely dog friendly. Perfect terrain and length. Beautiful scenery. We went in April and the weather was perfect, but could easily see how it would be really hot in summer. Can't wait to go back.

    Fun Hike

I've done this hike a couple times during April. There is lots of neat wildlife and desert flowers/plants that time of year. You will probly come across some cows and horses and you get to see some different landscapes. If you want it a bit longer there are a couple ways to make vairations to the out and back too.
