    Great sunset spot

Love Waterrock Knob! There's a short steep hike to the first viewing area and a longer moderate hike to the Top. You can see a great view in both directions from the parking area.

    Not for the little ones

I didn't take the dogs, but I took my 5 year old and a 2 1/2 year old. The first 1/4 mile is paved, but is a very sharp incline. The next area is steps that go to a lookout. After that a few more steps and then slowly inclining terrain. We had to ditch the smaller ones stroller at the stairs. We walked another 1/4 of a mile until the trail got too narrow and hard for the little ones to climb. My five year old walked the roughly mile up and down. It is a good quick workout but there are lots of rocks and logs to climb over.
