    Loved it

I thought this was better than the park. Very peaceful with beautiful walkways leading to little waterfalls and cute bridges. The wind blowing through different trees and birds chirping away. Koi ponds It was quite lovely. Felt like we could just take a deep breath and enjoy the gardens aura.

    No Dogs During Holiday Lights

Dogs are not allowed in the park from November 19-December 31st during the holiday lights. We ended up leaving because we had our pup, but the grounds looked nice from what we saw.

    Beautiful and dog friendly!

I was worried about coming here as it is July and they don’t open until 10:00. But there was a ton of shade and plenty of benches to stop for a water break as needed. Garvan Woodland Gardens is so beautiful and very dog friendly!

    Dog Friendly

A beautiful place to take a stroll with your pup. Dog admission is $5 and the concession gave us a bowl of water for him. Nice shady gardens on a hot day!

Very dog friendly! Our mini aussie enjoyed walking the trails and we loved that we were able to share the time with her. Mud March and a few things were starting to bloom.

    Awesome gardens

we spent a few hours walking the paths of the beautiful gardens. our pups were welcome and had as good a time as we did. lots of pretty bridges and water features as well as wonderful gardens, of course! we took in the chapel also. lunch at the chipmunk hut was delicious and we doubled back for a snow cone on the way out.

    Beautiful gardens

Expansive beautiful gardens with different sections to explore! All but the treehouse is dog friendly. There is a $5 fee/dog and they don’t allow retractable leashes. Also says they can kick out unruly dogs, so only half the gang came

    Great fun with the dog!

Lots of pretty, picturesque views, and plenty of room to bring the dog. She had plenty to see and smell, and we spent several enjoyable hours exploring. She was worn out by the time we left (a very hard thing to do), but we all loved it.

    LOVE Garvan Woodland Gardens!

I've not found a more enjoyable way to spend the day with my dog or anyone else for that matter. This place is always beautiful. The tulips in the spring are breathtaking! Dogs are allowed almost everywhere in the gardens except the chapel, and maybe the treehouse. Lunch from the Chipmunk Café is always very good. We cannot get enough of this lovely place. Can't wait for the heat to go away so we can visit again soon.

Great place to wear out your dog!

We were visiting Hot Springs with Red, and we wanted him to have some fun too before we went off to do human-only things. He loved this park, and he was plenty worn out when we finished walking all the trails. (So was I.) His favorite activity was watching the coy. The park says that they have several dog watering stations throughout the park, but we never saw one. We finally let Red drink from a rocky creek bed that he could reach without stepping into in.

    A Days Adventure

Absolutely the best day spent at Hot Springs. The garden is wonderful and our German Shepherd enjoyed her time sniffing all the wonderful scents. This place is the best dog friendly place to visit. ALSO stop by Chipmunk Cafe for a great lunch outside! Great food and service. Highly recommend this excellent garden.

    Walk + Gardens = ❤️

Loved a late afternoon walk in the gardens. Lots of shaded areas, so our dog was very comfortable. Probably our dog's favorite part of our weekend in Hot Spings.

    wonderful landscape

There is so much to see and explore. Rock bridges, Koi pond, children's garden and so much more. We visited in October, so the weather was perfect to be outdoors. Wear good walking shoes since the terrain has mild grades along the peninsula.
