Best dog park in the area

large fenced in area. They do have a smaller selection for small dogs. My dog is a one lapper, the trails around the park are good. Clean!

    Lots of snowy fun!

We visited in January and the snow was deep, but our Golden Retriever had a blast. The dogs that were there were well behaved. The space was great-lots of room to romp through the snow and play with other pups.

    fee

The park was great. The people and the dogs were sociable. My only concern was that the park didn’t have a day pass for out of town dogs. I am from Sheboygan. My dog and I met a friend from Milwaukee there for lunch and the dog park afterwards. We won’t be able to get to the park again probably but I sent a check for $25 for the admission. It’s a little steep for one visit. A day pass option would have been better. Most parks have that. This was my only problem with the park. I wish we lived closer because we would be there daily!

Great Park, Trails, and Welcoming Community

This park is well maintained and has a variety of trails areas for your dog to walk through. My partner and I started taking our newfie pup since February and the community has been super welcoming. My only caution is to just give a friendly reminder to small dog owners. Unless your tiny dog is well socialized and doesn’t get intimated by large dogs, please keep them in the small dog section for their safety and the other dogs. Otherwise love going here and would recommend this park to any dog owner to come check it out.

    Nice park but be careful

This is a very nice dog park. Quality fencing and a great layout with a variety of field, woods and prairie like setting. Probably the best in the area in that regard. However, you must watch for a handful of dogs that are dominant and fighting. Problem dogs are supposed to leave after a fight but generally do not. People told me there's is a risk taking your dog to any dog park but I thought they meant exposure to illnesses shared in water bowls, etc.

    Love the park

Our dog loves going to the dog park. She is a big dog and when a group of big dogs get running around and playing it is fun to watch. But...small dog owners whose dogs growl and bark and show their teeth to other dogs, please stay in area specifically built for small dogs. A little dog is too fragile to roll around and wrestle with big dogs.

    Clean, FUN, trails, fenced!

Rolf's is a great dog park, completely fenced in. My young golden absolutely loves this park. The trails are nice, there is a heavily wooded area, high grassy area and mowed area. Something for everyone's taste.

Shelly from Allenton please bring your puppy back again, her puppy manners were just fine. The group with older dogs does not run the park and they can certainly go to the small dog park if they want to stay away from rambunctious pups!

    Place is great! People??

1st off I have to say this is a wonderfully maintained dog park. My puppy loves to run there. I live a bit out of town and bring her there once a week for socialization. I have encountered a small group who obviously know each other and they seem to feel they run the park. They have older dogs and I have a puppy Mountain dog, when she wants to great them she gets yelled at by the owners to stay away from their dogs because their dogs are older. I have also been told her manners are not good. She leaned on one of the ladies and she asked me to put her leash on until her doggie skills were better. REALLY?? So when I go now if this group is there I keep her on a leash so as not to upset their dogs and them...but it defeats the point in socialization. I may have to find another park to work with her.

    Great Fun!

I have 3 dogs (1 small, 2 medium/large) who crazy love this park (Rolfs)! It's like Dog Disney World to them. They love checking out other dogs of all sorts and sizes, other kindly owners who pet them, and running all over off leash. I enjoy walking the trails, and my dogs stay with me really well, even while seeing many other dogs crossing our paths. They know 'their pack'. One of my dogs, part Rhodesian Ridgeback, jumps through the brush/wooded areas like a kangeroo! She has so much fun! She was brought up from a Humane Society in TN, and she is so energetic, I don't think I could keep her without being able to take her to Rolfs. We come often as we can. Sometimes 3x a week. Thank You to all who conceived and built this wonderful park! And thanks also for the wood chips on the trails - makes it so much nicer to hike in winter or muddy weather. Advice to newcomers, while many owners bring jugs of water to share, best bring your own water too, so there is plenty for all the dogs especially when hot out. The dogs run so much that they get very thirsty very fast.

It's the one my dog enjoys the most.

My husband and I travel a lot and I actually have been to several different dog parks. The one in Kaukauna is nice but not much shade. There is no woods, hills, or brush for my dog to sniff and hunt through and that's what he loves. We've been to parks in Kentucky, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee just to mention a few and I always look forward to getting back to West Bend. It's the one my dog enjoys the most. It obviously has had a lot of love and work put into it and every one has a right to be proud of it.

    Dog-gone fun

Well worth the annual fee and the drive. We go once a week, sometimes twice. My dog loves it. I love it ! There's always a new dog and plenty of "regulars" for him to play chase or chill in the gazeebo.

    Great place for dogs!

I take my pug, Fez, there several times a week. He really loves it! There is an open area, a wooded area, a meadow area and a field with some type of tall grass that dogs love to run through.

Your dog will love it !

I live about 6 miles from this park and we visit it frequently. Totally fenced in 10 acres with combination of woods and open areas with trails. No water on site, so bring your own. Can get busy on the weekends. Overall, a great place.

    my dogs LOVED it

While I lived in the West Bend area, we frequented the park with my German Shepherd and my Siberian Husky. Both dogs LOVED the park, as did I. Lots of interesting sights and smells for the dogs, plenty of "poop stations" so owners can pick up after their dogs, benches for us to sit on and enjoy watching our pets run and play...several acres of mowed hill to play catch, along with a nice variety of field and forest with well managed paths. I miss the area JUST for that park!!
