Hello I live in Edmonton, Alberta. Yes whyte av is very dog friendly a lot of places even have shop pets. Some business owners on Whyte av leave water bowls outside their store in the summer for thirsty dogs. Whyte av is also great for food and bars it's not downtown but every you ask will agree whyte av is the heart of Edmonton.
