- CindyAug. 23, 2022Great park
It has shade, benches, poop bags and water. Agility equipment is fun. I love the separate sides. Vada always has a great time, alone or playing with others.

As other reviewers said, this park was worth the drive from 75! Great place to let the dogs stretch and run. Water fountains were pretty clogged but everything else was perfect and there was a friendly bunch of local dogs to meet too. We loved the agility equipment and wide open, grassy spaces!

This is one of our favorite dog parks. Appreciated the doggy bags, and the water fountains. They had ramps to climb up and fences to jump. Also multiple fenced off areas. It was also in a very nice park area.

Despite this park being quite a distance from I-75, it was worth stopping here. We went on a drizzly December afternoon and were the only ones there. This park is huge! The section for large dogs is so big that I'm not sure my dog realized there was a fence! There are a couple of big, old trees that would provide some shade. Would love to go back and work on the agility equipment.
- BacchusMore than a year agoI LOVE IT
My name is Bacchus and I am a 4-year old collie. I come here every day. All the dogs and their humans think I am crazy because all I do is bark and run up and down the fence. I love running up and down the fence it is just so much fun. Unfortunately, I am not always the best with dogs my own size so my human always puts me in with the smaller dogs who I just ignore. I don't care because it gives me more freedom to just run up and down the fence. And bark and make noise. I think it is always quiet until my human brings me. I have been coming here almost every day since I was 1 and now that I am moving away from Valdosta I won't ever see Freedom Park again. I am so sad. I will miss running up and down the fence and making lots of noise. Goodbye to all the friends I've met.

Wonderful park for dogs, however I agree with the person above me that the park needs a small pool or a pond. I have a Labrador, and their breed loves to swim. I have to take my dog to the duck pond to actually get in water because their is no pool or pond near for dogs to swim! He loves it!

We were in Valdosta for vacation and brought our 2 dogs. We have a large kennel we keep them in while in the hotel room, so every morning before heading to Wild Adventures, we would drive the 15 minutes to this great dog park. VERY large area for them to play. There were only 2 other dogs there the 1st day, so the other 2 mornings we had the entire areas to ourselves. The dogs has so much fun running around. The small dog area and dog run were clean of poop, but the "all" dog area was a little messy. Lots of things for dogs to run on and through, though my 2 were just happy to be out in the sunshine and amongst the trees. Would def. go back next time we are in town and bring the pups.

This dog park is a great asset to Valdosta. I live in town and my dog doesnt get the exercise that she needs. I took her to the dog park today for the first time and she LOVED IT! It wasnt crowded and she played so much that she fell asleep on the way home. I will definitely be back several times a week.

The first time i went it was amazing. My dog had a great time and was happy to play with other dogs. P.S. the little dog area is never crouded. The big dog side is almost always. Loved It!!!!
- AshleyMore than a year agoNeeds more
The park NEEDS a pool, especially it being Valdosta Ga. It was only 91 degrees when I brought my dogs to the park and they could only handle being outside for about 45min. Adding a pond/pool would attract many other dogs and their owners. Other than that I thought the three separate fenced in areas were smart. The water fountain for the dogs its awesome even though my dog didnt drink our of it. I loved the large trees it provided shade when my dogs became tired and over heated. Overall it was a pretty nice dog park. NEEDS A POND!!!!
- JamieMore than a year agoClean, pretty, fun!
This is a great dog park. There's lots of agility equipment in both the small and big dog areas. The grass is green and the area was very clean. There was only one other person there when I was there in the middle of the day. My dog loved it!
- Bonita and AngelMore than a year agoIt is cute
It is new and needs a few things. But I like it, so Angel can run around and play with other dogs.
