City Creek Trail System provides approximately 50 miles of exceptional hiking and riding trails within the Pocatello city limits. Managed by the City, this fantastic Idaho resource is utilized by hikers, horseback riders, mountain bikers, off-road vehicles and dog walkers. The main City Creek Trail gains almost 1,000 feet in elevation from the Grant Street Parking Lot to the last connection with City Creek Road. Visit Website

We Got Lost!
We got lost trying to find it - ended up with a quick walk in the middle of nowhere...

Great Hike
I enjoy hiking there with my dogs, but too many people let their dogs run free. This wouldn't be a problem, but not all owners control their dogs well. I keep mine leashed to prevent problems; I just wish others would do the same.

Close hiking
It's great to be able to go hiking so close to town. It is also one of the first hikes to be accessible after our long winters. It is shady most of the way and follows a little stream which provides a lovely sound as you hike.

City Creek Trail System
Awesome place for dog jogs. 50 miles of great trails in the local mountains. Plenty of watering holes along the creek bed for the pups to get a drink or a quick dip.
