    Great Dog Park

in for a few weeks from out of town with our 7 month old puppy. We’ve taken him here a few times already and he’s loved it. The park is separated between large dogs and smaller dogs and all of the dog owners have been very conscientious. We’ll bring our pup back throughout our stay.

    Great Park

Loved the size of this park, & had a nice grassy area to play & trash can by the gate. Also has picnic tables & shaded bench for pet parents. A few icky water bowls around (suggest bringing your own water). There were also lots of tennis balls already there for your dog to enjoy a game of fetch. My only complaint is prepare for a long walk to the park, however it’s a beautiful walk along the lake. Enjoy. We did.

    Excellent Park!

We don’t know what we’d do without it. Great dogs, great people, incredible location.

    We Loved It

Visited after driving from Miami . Beautiful view from inside and outside of dog park, plenty of benches , plenty of shade . We parked in the community center lot (building has public bathrooms) and walked a little distance over. If we lived here we would def be frequent visitors

    Best Dog Park

Very friendly well equipped dog park. There are poop bags, water fountains for pups and humans, picnic tables, and benches . There is plenty of parking on Lily Lane. There are 2 separate sections for large dogs and small dogs. There are always other dogs every time I’ve gone, if not within 10 min someone usually shows up no matter what time of day. There’s a small lake with fountains with a walking path around it that you can walk with your pet on a leash. Always a nice group of people and dogs.

    Great do park!

Not sure where "Devestated" got his/her info, but it's erroneous. Marco is one of the safest islands in the country. There's plenty of parking. The dog park is segregated for big and small dogs, although some people may bring their docile, slow or lazy larger dog into the small park at times. Plenty of poopy bags and water fountains. Yes, there is always an idiot once in a great while that doesn't know how to handle their dog, but that's everywhere. And us locals will say something. And the police won't put up with their crap either. And if you want to take a walk, the giant park has a great walking/jogging/bike path around the lake. Anyone who bad mouths this park has never been here.

Great dog park! Clean, plenty of poop bag stations, water fountains, shady trees and open space for dogs to cut loose off leash. I went for the first time on a Sunday during the on season. There was more than enough parking in the main lot if you are not too lazy to walk a couple hundred feet around the pond to the dog park. Theres about 10-12 spaces adjacent to the dog park itself. The other dogs and their people were friendly enough although someone let a small dog in the big dog area and my greyhound ran it down in a flash, as she was trained to do. It could have been a massacre but there was no harm done. There's a reason for divided areas. Common sense folks.

    Pleasant experience

We recently moved to Marco full time. Canine Cove is a pleasant little park with separate areas for large and small dogs, convenient pick up bags, and water fountains for the dogs. Owners have been responsible and friendly. Dogs have been well behaved for the most part.

    Stay Away

A safe place for pets or humans?

Recent report stated a Golden Lab mix was injured by a hit and run driver in the parking area. This incident, a recent murder, bomb threat and other unreported crime will keep me out of that town.

    GREAT

This is a fantastic park. We're able to drop Spinner off in the morning, go to the beach for a few hours, have lunch and pick her up in the afternoon. There is no cost. It's the perfect doggie day care. Spinner is always anxious to visit in Marco Island. Four Paws Up and a huge smile. It's a great idea and we're thankful for such a wonderful park. We love the beaches and wish we could visit more often.

Aggressive loud dogs and handlers. Parking is limited to six or seven dedicated spaces. Access is dangerous. We kept our dog tight on the leash (or carry the animal) as we dodged a multitude of speeding vehicles while walking in the street to and from our car at the off site parking. Beware, carry your pooch through the four way intersection, with no cross walk or sidewalk, to avoid the liquid chemical spills that puddle in the street draining from nearby facilities. The car seat got stained from whatever was on our dog's feet.
There's one nasty port-a-potty. The jungle gym kiddie playground and actual park amenities are a half mile away. Bring your own water. Don't drink out of that fountain. Absolutely no supervision so anything goes day or night. We visited after dark to avoid the crowd and observed some interesting Guys who hook up with their bestest friends in the darkness. We won't try that again. The posted rules are ignored apparently without consequence. Visit after closing and in the dark so “pick-up-the-dung” is not required. The neighbors are definitely not friendly towards the after hours visitors. The opportunity for voyeurism is obvious. The neighbors must not be aware that we could hear and witness “everything”. We do visit the park but never after dark and not as often as we'd like. Central Bark in Naples is much friendlier and we feel much more comfortable there.

    Great Dog Park

This park has doggy and people fountains, shade, grass, picnic tables and a big dog side and little dog side. It also has a catch and release pond, amazing jungle gym for the little ones and restrooms. This park has it ALL. THE BEST IN COLLIER COUNTY, for a family day at the park.
