The Poplar Avenue beach in Wildwood became an official Dog Beach in June 2014. You can walk your dog over the boardwalk here to get to the beach. It is a block wide with plenty of room for you and your pooch to soak up the sun and take a dip. Dogs must be leashed. Open daily year round.

Paw prints can be found in the sand from leashed dogs at Sunset Beach from mid-September through mid-April. If you get hungry, The Grille has several dog friendly outdoor tables. Dogs are welcome at Sunset Beach Gifts which is open daily and sells souvenirs, books, and collectibles. Sunset Beach is also famous for the concrete ship of SS Atlantus which has been "grounded" at Cape May Point since 1926. End your day with the flag ceremony which is held nightly from May through September.

In Dewey Beach, Delaware, dogs are allowed on the beach before 9:30 am and after 5:30 pm during the summer (mid-May through mid-September). Dogs are allowed on the beach at all times during the day from mid-September to mid-May. You must clean up after your dog at all times, and all dogs must have a Dewey Beach dog license that can be obtained from Town Hall located at 105 Rodney Ave.

The Stone Harbor Beach on 122nd has free parking and free beach. Dog hours between 7pm and sunset during peak season out all day in off season.
