Pet Friendly Hammonasset Beach State Park
Hammonasset Beach State Park Fido is welcome to enjoy the pet-friendly beach on a leash from September 30th to April 1st at Hammonasset State Park in Madison, CT. Visitors with pets on the beach outside of those dates are subject to fines if caught. Leashed dogs can join you in picnic areas year-round, and pups are also welcome in the campground after Columbus Day until May 1st. See Details
Pet Friendly Jennings Beach
Jennings Beach Jennings Beach is a pet-friendly area covering 27 acres along the Long Island Sound in Fairfield, CT. Dogs and horses are welcome at this off-leash beach from October 1st to March 31st. Pets must be cleaned up after and are not permitted on the boardwalks, pavilions or playgrounds. See Details
Compo Beach Off-Leash Dog Area Compo Beach Off-Leash Dog Area welcomes Fido to play along the sandy shoreline from October 1st through March 31st in Westport, CT. The off-leash section is located south of the brick bathhouses and is clearly marked. Please note that the area is not fenced, so pets must be supervised at all times. Dogs are not permitted on the playground, pavilion or beach walkways. See Details
Penfield Beach Penfield Beach in Fairfield, CT is a pet-friendly beach open to leashed dogs and horses from October 1st to March 31st. Esker Point Beach Take the whole family for a day on the water at Esker Point Beach, a dog-friendly recreational area located in Groton, CT. The beach area allows dogs off leash, but they must be under voice control. Esker Point Beach features a kayak launch area, volleyball courts, a picnic area and more. Bayley Beach Bayley Beach is a dog-friendly beach located inside Neville Bayley Park in Norwalk, CT. Bayley Beach was once a part of Roton Point Amusement Park, and is now a popular day-use area. Sunnyside Boat Ramp Sunnyside Boat Ramp is a popular dog-friendly swimming location in Shelton, CT. Please note that the area is also used for shore fishing as well as to launch motorized and non-motorized vessels. Please keep an eye on your pups. It is noted that water quality can change depending on the season. Parking at the boat launch is for permitted boat trailers only; you can find visitor parking up the hill, behind Sunnyside Elementary School. See Details
