Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park
Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park in Coloma, CA is pet friendly. Dogs are allowed on trails and in the river, but are not permitted in buildings. James W. Marshall discovered gold in 1848 on the South Fork of the American River; an event which led to the greatest mass movement of people in the Western Hemisphere.
