The Solvang Trolley, also known as the Honen, boards passengers regularly outside of the Visitor's Center on Copenhagen St. and Second St. and takes them on a 25 minute tour throughout the Downtown Area of Solvang. Passengers rediscover the architecture and attractions of the town on a replica of an 1800's Danish streetcar. Tour guides tell the history of Solvang, explain the origin and significance of many sights and buildings, and share with visitors folk tales and cultural notes from Denmark. They provide as well an insight on activities in town and give general information about the area. It is pulled by two powerful, and always friendly Belgian Draft horses.
