Fuller Park ​​Fuller Park is a dog-friendly, 60-acre recreation area located in Ann Arbor, MI. The perimeter of the park is the Huron River, with a pedestrian bridge connection to Island Park. The play area was designed and built by the community and is one of the largest in the City. There are picnic tables located near the play area, and parking both at the park and across Fuller Road. Barton Nature Area ​Barton Nature Area is a dog-friendly, 102-acre park located along the Huron River, a few miles north of downtown Ann Arbor, MI. The park is in two sections: the larger is known locally as the oxbow, and connects to Argo; the smaller is known as Foster, and is accessible only by boat from Barton Pond. The main parking lot is located on Huron River Dr, just northwest of Bird Rd, near Barton Dam. A smaller pull-off lot is located further east on Huron River Dr near M-14 and Main St. Bridges from the parking areas allow pedestrian access to the oxbow. There is a picnic area next to the main parking lot. Dogs must remain leashed at all times. See Details
Delhi Metropark Delhi Metropark is a dog-friendly park located five miles northwest of Ann Arbor, MI. Dogs must remain leashed and are not permitted in nature and farm areas, on beaches or in buildings. Breathe in the sweet smell of 53 acres of mature oak trees and open, grassy lawns. Nestled against a bend in the Huron River, this is a popular fishing and canoeing destination. Spot a great blue heron hiding along the shore, turtles basking on a rock or a white-tailed deer roaming the grounds. A picnic shelter is available near the Huron River. It connects to Riverside Park by an asphalt path and has a staircase to Broadway crossing under the bridge.
