It's a moderately easy, 15-mile hike in Eagle Cap Wilderness that will take about 2 days to complete with Fido. Shortly after starting the hike there is a fork in the trail. Bear Creek Trail The Bear Creek Trail is a pet-friendly path in Lostine, OR. It's a moderately easy, 35-mile hike in Eagle Cap Wilderness that will take about 2 to 3 days to complete with Fido. It is possible that you may come across bears or cougars on this hike, or elk calves and mule deer in the spring and early summer. Horse traffic is heaviest during the fall hunting season, at which time you and your dog should wear bright orange. Please note that a Northwest Forest Pass is required. See Details

Your well-behaved pooch is welcome to sit beside you at this workshop where you will be introduced to the tools and techniques of encaustic painting. You will learn how to layer wax and resin to build up a surface, and then layering wax on to boards, fusing each layer with a heat gun. After a short break, you will add more color, texture, or photo transfers. Please note that the host has a cat onsite who will usually hide.
