Fredericksburg & Spotsylvania National Military Park is pet-friendly. This park was created to commemorate four major battles in the American Civil War: Fredericksburg, Chancellorsville, The Wilderness, and Spotsylvania. Dogs are welcome throughout the 8,000 acre park, other than Fredericksburg National Cemetery.
