Grand Canyon National Park

Pets are permitted in Grand Canyon National Park. Pets must remain on a leash at all times. Pets are allowed on trails above the rim, Mather Campground, Desert View Campground, Trailer Village and throughout the developed areas. Pets are not permitted below the rim, in park lodging (hotel rooms), or on park buses. On the North Rim pets are not allowed other than the bridle path that connects the lodge with the North Kaibab Trail. A kennel is available at the South Rim only. It is open daily from 7:30am - 5pm. Yavapai Observation Station

Yavapai Observation Station is pet-friendly. You can bring Fido with you on a leash inside this Geology Museum. Ideal to warm up on a chilly canyon day, the room is covered in interesting facts about the canyon and a run down on why it exists in the first place. The hours vary depending on the season, but usually the lodge is open daily from 8am to 8pm.
