Dogs are allowed on the Pa'rus Trail, on public roads and parking areas, in developed campgrounds, picnic areas, and on the grounds of Zion Lodge. All other trails, wilderness areas, shuttle buses, and public buildings are closed to pets. Properly-restrained pets may be left unattended in developed campgrounds only when environmental conditions are safe for the animal, and the animal is quiet. Visitors to the park will find several trails, benches, barbecue grills, restrooms, and access to the Virgin River. A footbridge leads to Marj Bonner Dog Park, a native area east of the Virgin River and a designated off-leash space for Fido. Owners should be aware that Marj Bonner Dog Park at George Barker River Park is not a fenced area and Fido must be under voice control.
