The Back 40 Loop crosses roads and winds alongside several small communities, but plenty of solitude can be found. The trail through a typical Arkansas hardwood forest will delight those in search of Fall colors, wildlife and trickling streams. There are two porta potties along the entire trail and hikers should carry snacks and water.
