Pet Friendly Freedom Fields Dog Park
Freedom Fields Dog Park Freedom Fields Dog Park is a fenced space in Little Egg Harbor. Bring your pup along for some off-leash fun after a walk on the trails around the larger Freedom Fields Park. Located on 4.5 acres within the larger Freedom Fields Park, this shady new fenced facility is divided into two sections for large and small dogs. Hang out at one of the picnic tables while your pooch plays slalom fetch through the trees with his newfound friends. Freedom Fields Dog Park is open every day of the week from 6am to 8pm. Registration is required to access the county's off-leash dog parks and dogs must be at least six months old. People using the dog park need to carry their county-issued dog park identification card to assure dogs using the facilities are licensed and are up to date with their vaccines. Longport Dog Beach Longport Dog Beach (also known as Somers Point Dog Beach, Malibu Beach, or just Dog Beach) is an off-leash dog beach located at Malibu Beach Wildlife Management area where dogs of all sizes can play in the sand and water. The beach is located at the base of the Ocean Drive Bridge on the Longport side across from the fishing pier. Owners must bring their own water and waste disposal items. Barnegat Light Dog Park The Barnegat Light Dog Park is on the north end of New Jersey's Long Beach Island. The park has a dual function as ballfield and dog park with a double gated entrance. All dog park users MUST obtain a dog park gate entry card (“Paw Pass”) and a dog park tag. Passes are free for Barnegat Light residents and for non-residents the annual fee is $30 and the weekly fee is $10. Applications for the passes can be obtained at Borough Hall, the Beach Badge Booth (in-season) or on the Borough website. Proof of rabies must be shown, either with a rabies certificate or a current dog license. See Details

Ocean City Dog Park Ocean City Dog Park is located at 45th Street and Haven Avenue. It is a membership dog park. The Dog Park is an access-controlled, fenced-in, off-leash recreation area for dogs where well-behaved canine citizens can interact, exercise and play in a clean, safe and secure environment. The 42,000-square-foot dog park with sandy soil ground cover has three separate areas: large dog area (dogs over 25 lbs), small dog area (dogs under 25 lbs) and dog run area for all dogs. Park facilities include a double-gated entrance and unleash area with secure electronic locking gates, shared pavilion in small and large dog area with picnic table in each area, open shed shelters, sitting benches, water fountains for dogs and owners, "pooper scooper" dispensers and disposable bags, trash and recycling containers, several inoperable fire hydrants for doggie relief, interactive play equipment, a Port-a-Potty, free off-street parking lot and a designated handicap area. Park hours are from 8 am to dusk, 7 days a week, year-round. Membership fees for Paw Passes vary; visitors are $10 per week, yearly memberships cost $30-$40. See Details
